SQIT

Southern Queensland Institute of TAFE (SQIT) is one of the largest registered training organisations in Queensland, training approximately 20,000 local, national and international students each year. The Institute offers more than 300 programs with a range of full-time courses designed for students in areas including accounting, aged care, beauty therapy, hospitality, information technology, automotive, construction and electrical. These courses are delivered in state-of-the-art facilities using latest technology. Some of these courses articulate into degree courses at the University of Southern Queensland and other universities across Australia.

Brown and Hurley

Alan Brown and Jack Hurley met in the Australian Army during the Second World War and decided to go into business following their discharge from the Army in 1946. Their first business was a bicycle shop with a workshop and petrol bowsers in Kyogle NSW, but their real love was trucks.  In 1948 they obtained the White Truck franchise. Today Brown and Hurley have branches in Kyogle, Darra, Townsville, Coffs Harbour, Rockhampton, Yatala, Toowoomba and Tamworth. They sell and service Kenworth and DAF trucks and stock Barker Trailers and a range of used trucks and trailers.

Austrans Haulage

Austrans Haulage offer a range of industrial services ranging from bulk liquid waste removal, transport and disposal, high pressure water blasting and clearing drains and pipes, to earthmoving and tank unloading and cleaning. Their fleet includes many different capacity tankers and trailers and have various vacuum and pump fittings which enable them to carry almost any product.
